The history
PASTA BERRUTO S.p.A. was born in 2004 from the merge of two companies: Arrighi S.p.A. and Italpasta S.p.A..
The two companies praise an age-long experience and tradition in the cereals market and pasta-making industry.
Arrighi S.p.A. was founded in 1930 as a solely-owned firm. Its founder and owner was Mr. Renato Arrighi. His firm was one of the first pasta factories to ever supply the emerging supermarkets chains, in particular the Alleanza Cooperativa Torinese from which the COOP was originated.
Arrighi S.p.A. has shown since the far-off 1970 its export orientation becoming in the nineties one of the leader in the hard USA market.
Italpasta was born in 1959 from the merge of 3 Piedmontese pasta factories: Flli Poy of Torino, Casalis of Carignano and Cuminetti of Porte, founded respectively in 1881, 1912 and 1916.
Its history is an evidence of the hard work, ability and sense of responsibility of pasta-making generations. This valuable inherited experience throughout the years has inspired confidence by always setting new goals in terms of production, quantity and quality.
